Do you have a helmet you want to show off? Into Star Wars, Marvel, DC and have a burgeoning prop helmet collection? These files are for you!

This simple design is made of three parts; dome, elbow and base flange.

All the tube pieces accept a 1" (25.4mm) dowel cut to length. They also have a secure hole for a 3mm set screw to maintain dowel position. This allows you to control height and distance from wall to create the cleanest possible look. The base flange has mounting holes for the wall that accepts standard drywall screws.

Want to stand your helmet on a shelf? Don't use the elbow. Easy peasy. I'd recommend using strong double-sided tape for the base or even screwing it down to the shelf for stability.

Pictured below is what is in the zip. Import the files into your slicer of choice for your 3D printer. I split the dome and its base (HelmetHanger_DomeBase.stl and HelmetHanger_Dome.stl) in case you want to print them separately for a cleaner print. Glue them together with standard ca glue or even hot glue. Feel like that's one step too many? print them as a unified part (HelmetHanger_domeWbase.stl)
